Brooks mentioned that he spends a lot of time in Austin because his BF works there. I’m sure it was just a throwaway line and doesn’t mean anything. But… I think a Next Gen Austin could be interesting. There’s a huge music and indie film scene there, so plenty of aspiring musicians/artists to follow. I like when Bravo branches out beyond NYC and LA. So many other cities have strong cultural hubs.

The 2026-2027 will be my first year as a classroom teacher. Does anyone have any book recommendations for beginner teachers? I know that nothing will fully prepare me, but I’m hoping to read some books that will help me.
