SBM ADMIN WINDOWS STAFF

Having been a student at XU for a long time, I’ve experienced my fair share of dismissive attitudes from various offices but the SBM administrative staff is on a completely different level. Both of my parents are minimum-wage workers, so from a young age, I’ve understood that no job is easy. I know what it means to work hard, receive low pay, and work unpaid overtime. So if you think I’m just a lazy student who loves to complain, you’re mistaken. This isn't about privilege; it’s about demanding fair treatment and respect. We pay significant tuition and fees to study at this university. The least we can expect is for simple yes-or-no questions to be answered directly not dismissed or met with sarcasm. We always try to approach the staff with respect, understanding that their work is tiring and stressful. But that should never justify mistreating students. I hope this reaches the attention of their department head so real improvements can be made.

Shifting to Legal Management

Hello po! I hope reddit won’t delete this post of mine. I’m a first year student incoming 2nd year na unta, and I‘m on the wrong pre law course. I know nga there’s no right or wrong course or even “pre law“ course, I just don’t like the course I’m in lang gyud, anyways enough ana nga yapping. I’m planning to shift to legal management not for the clout, but I think it fits me better. So, like I’m so desperate na to get help.

  1. How do I shift?

  2. Where do I go?

  3. Would it be possible to start the process as early as now? (I hate procrastinating)

  4. Will they ask about my grades? (not that I failed anything, dili pa complete akong grades super dugay ang uban profs)

Pls pls help! All answers are vv much appreciated! lovelots 💐🥹

Org Fees (issue)

In lieu of that post made like 21 hours ago, regarding org fees. I hope matters like these are no longer posted on Reddit, because for your information, issues like these are spread so easily, and like you not taking accountability for the decision you made to post such thing, means other people can be held accountable for it, this post not only applies to one person nor is it meant to attack like the person who posted it but I hope that everyone in the XU community can take a pause and think before thinking, think about the shame this brings towards our department and the people nga madamay because of the like the sht we rant about, it’s just so annoying that people can be held acceptable for other people’s sht, so sa nag post adto why don’t you like be responsible and like take accountability for what you did, kasi a lot of people are like gaka damay bitaw, and like stop pointing fingers at everyone.
