Is it possible to fit in the motherboard of a 15.6 inch MSI leopard gp65 into a 17 inch case?

Theoretically, the board can fit, but I'm scared if there are issues I haven't considered. I couldn't find the 15.6 case, so I decided to settle for the one available (17 inch case).

I know I might face the issues of the ports not alligning or screw bosses/mounting pins not lining up. But what of the display cable? Is the 15.6 inch board capable of driving a 17 inch screen? Will the mounting pins even match?
