advice for a burnt out student

I feel like I’m getting bullied by a group of people in my section and I’ve been enduring it since the start of the school year.

It’s not the obvious kind of bullying. More on the condescending, sly comments and actions nga pwede ra nila ma-deny kay dili man siya super obvious. I’ve just been silently dealing with it kay I didn’t want to cause any trouble or make things worse.

But I recently found out nga people in our section have actually been talking about me since the beginning of the school year. And apparently, they’re aware nga I’m being treated this way and they “feel sorry” for me, pero wala gyud ni-step up or even tried to defend me. Honestly, I don’t know which feels worse, knowing they’re doing it or knowing people saw it happening and just chose to stay quiet.

I’m dorming here in Davao with no family or close friends to support me. I’ve actually considered dropping out because of this. I’ve also fallen into such a deep depression that my academics have been affected so badly. I used to be Dean’s List, and now I’m barely passing my subjects.

To the people who are treating me this way, I hope you eventually find it in your heart to be better. Kindness isn’t even hard to give. You never know what someone is already going through, and I wish people would think about that before making someone else’s life harder.

ADDU was my dream school. I got into nursing because I wanted to make my family proud, pero right now I honestly don’t know if I can continue staying here.

If anyone has advice, please help me. I don’t know if ako ra ba ang naka-feel ani or if I’m just being too sensitive, but I genuinely can’t cope anymore. I’ve been keeping all of this to myself for so long and I honestly have no one to tell.
