nakakapagod magcommute. it takes me 1hr+ to reach addu and vice versa to my home and once I reach my home, pagod na pagod na ako. super drained, gutom and lahat na.

nakakawalan gana but I have to be resilient.

let's say umalis ako sa addu 7 pm, i reached home at 8:30/9 pm. then I have to study and wake up early for school pa.

I only have a little time for studying and Im not sure if I'm managing my time properly or not. I also wish na I could do some advance readings pero because of the sudden quizzes or recitation announcements, it all took my time to study.

to all commuters here, how do yall manage to catch up with the lessons, do some advance readings or manage your time properly to study well? like in just between hours of going home and waking up early, you only have few (?) hours to study. how do you guys do it? what are your tips to not stay drained always ​or just any tips in general?

I don’t know why I want to say this, but maybe I just want to let this feeling out without people knowing about me (Maybe a little bit). I’m a sophomore in ADDU and I’m a Mech Engr. I don’t have a crush on anyone. Like, at all. Absolutely nobody. There is literally no one I like.

I’m in the same group as this girl in chem lab, so I was taking the opportunity to have a small talk with her or even make her laugh to make her day, but I didn’t, because I’m a bit of a coward to be honest. But that doesn’t mean I like her or anything. I don’t. Just to be clear.

After finishing chem lab, I go to one of my friends to talk while stealing glance at her from time to time. Not because I like her, obviously. I’m just looking around. She’s waiting for her friends from the other lab, which is a bunch of guys. I’m not jealous about it either. Why would I be? I don’t like her.

I’m just a nobody that’s not that smart or cool, just an ordinary person in her group, and that’s not worth her time to be with me. But again, I DON’T LIKE HER. She’s just someone in my chem lab group. That’s it.
So after she was with her friends, I went to Mig Pro to study the lesson I didn’t get.

When I went home and lay down on the bed and began looking at myself, looking at my flaws and wondering how to get her to not notice me.

But obviously, that’s not because I like her.

I don’t like anyone.

Still answering that question until now.

hi! ako lang ba napapansin na walang nag bago sa guards? I mean yes, they’re taking more time in “checking” our bags & us pero napapansin ko talaga pag chinecheck nila bag ko sometimes hindi naman sila tumitingin talaga tapos pinapasok lang yung stick or hindi naman nila chinecheck sa baba if may nakatago or what.

nakakaworry lang especially with the recent happenings :(( who can we reach out to for this? im really worried for my safety talaga and ofc for others

I noticed some students are getting too comfortable with the professors to the point that there isn't respect anymore. I can see it affecting the class because impressions often last and affect how our professors treat the whole class for the whole semester.

Please maintain proper manners and etiquette when approaching the professor or any school admin. Let's not forget that they are still our professors and we are only their students. Especially for beadles who are in constant communication with the professors, please ask, talk, or email them with proper greetings, and a respectful tone.

They are not our friends who we can talk casually with and demand things we want when we want it. Let us also refrain from making sarcastic whispers or comments when our professors are asking questions seriously. It's basic human decency to answer properly when being asked. It's not making you look cool and appealing to women like how you think it would when you act like an ahole.

We're no longer freshies to not know how to act like college students. Hell, even freshies probably have better etiquette.

Hii guys! I’m usually a lurker here but I wanted ask how do college seniors (im a freshie hehe) study? I find it difficult to study in college despite using my usual methods from SHS.

I’m a BSMA freshie and even though I was an ABM student I’m still having a difficult time because based on my current experience, the hand outs and ppts I studied never came out of the quizzes I took (or probably because I was overwhelmed with the amount to study)

Highkey crashing out because my motivation to study became an all time low because of it and I wanna aim high for prelims to start locking in :(

hi, ask lang ako if meron ba dito mga 2nd-4th year BSA students na may naligwak na quizzes pag first yesr pero naka-proceed naman? i think halata naman bakit ako naga tanong haha pls help im overthinking ligwak ako dalawang quiz sa FAR di ko na alam if maka proceed pa bako or OA lang ba ako

I’ve been trying so hard to adjust to this environment and force myself to grow, meet people, participate, and put myself out there, but honestly, I don’t feel like I’m growing here…I feel like I’m just constantly trying to convince myself that I’m okay.

Maybe I’m just tired or homesick, but I truly miss the comfort of being home, where I didn’t have to try so hard to feel like I belonged. :((

Its okay to get it wrong than notice it and not say anything.

tried to search up information regarding the educational tour and couldn't find much aside from the post last march 2025. i wanted to ask a few questions.

1. how much were the fees? is there a payment plan?

2. was there a "free day"?

3. how long was the trip?

4. is there a curfew? if so, what time?

Does anyone know any quality tailoring shops for AdDU uniforms (or other types of uniform)?

I had one experience kasi with a tailoring shop and they said that they will release it “30 days maximum.” However, when I tried to get my uniform on the said date, they told us that it wasn't finished pa (it's over 30 days na).

Any other reco?
