If you could change 1 thing about turbo , what would it be ? Or do you think it’s perfect and has no flaws ? ( doubt it)

My singular problem with turbo .

Now, I’m not here to say I’m mad that Lui lost to aiger ,I don’t mind it and I know how Aiger won.

The problem for me is Lui’s overall appearance and character arc in turbo. It’s almost as if he’s only acting as a “stepping stone” for the mc ( which he probably was ) and I hate that. I hate that after their fight he doesn’t appear and is irrelevant for the whole damn story.

Why couldn’t the writers give him more screen time ? I mean no offense, but this man Lui was a top 4 blader back in evolution and top 1( debatable) in og burst .
Would it have been stale to include him ? Did the writers think Lui was unnecessary and wasn’t worth the effort as he was in the previous seasons.

I mean we could have gotten a Lui buff and make him face off against Hyde , Valt , free and Shu , Aiger , the list goes on.
At least include him in one of the arcs like dread tower ,or fight him in the final arc.

They sure as hell included Shu and free in some arcs .

Another problem I have with Lui is power scaling , like I said previously **I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH AIGER WINNING,**it’s the fact that Lui is basically fodder in turbo. Lets the see who beats him :
The scientist guy who works for Hyde , the guy who uses Kerbeus( I forgot their names ) , Xavier and the list goes on(don’t need to mention the strongest ones)

Basically turbo Lui’s feats are only beating Valt with wonder valtryek and Z Achilles🫤

How can you go from being equal to Valt , to being low top 10 in the verse.
At least give us like..a background appearance or make him appear somehow.

Could free theoretically use Phis armor ? I always thought nothing break was fast enough..like maybe turn the armor against him i don’t know ?

Could free use nothing break to use phis armor and attack Phoenix instead ? Or is it not fast enough ?

How do I remove the chassis

Someone help me remove the chassis on world spriggan/Spryzen

Edit; forgot to edit this , I managed to take it off , thanks guys

u/No_Razzmatazz4887 — 8 days ago

If the writers did this , would the Beyblade community approve ?

NOTE: I DONT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST AIGER AND I DONT MIND THAT VALT LOST .
This is just a cool little alternative route the story could have gone in

u/No_Razzmatazz4887 — 11 days ago

If Valt won this, would this have been a controversial decision?

Yes.im a fan of Valt , but..Aiger winning wasn’t a problem..I just wanted to ask burst fans this question.
If Valt won this battle , would it have been a bad decision to do so ?

What do you think of Lain’s character ( and don’t give me “plot armor” and “ screams all the time and wins”)

Here’s my opinion, I don’t hate Lain. I actually enjoy his character arc.
So basically his story starts with Shu seeing lain , and seeing he could become like him . So Shu takes him in , trying to teach him the right away.

But naturally , Lain goes dark and develops flare , a gimmick similar to Resonance. But unlike resonance, despite Lucifer getting massive amounts of power by Lains use of flare , it’s actually corrupting only Lain..which makes him determined to prove he’s number 1 and quench his thirst , sets out to beat legends.

Im not mad that he beat the legends , as like resonance, it seems flare is also apart of the users will, the stronger the bey , the stronger the will.( kind of similar to dark aiger in a way, but unlike dark reasonance corrupting both the bey and user , seems like dark flare only corrupts the user.

Anyways , after packing up the legends, he finally faces Shu, who beats him..but Shu is unable to save lain and he later makes Lucifer the end.
Lain later challenges Shu again , and beats him ..thinking he finally got what he wanted..only to have that look on his face , as he is not satisfied and is unable to quench his thirst .
He gets what he wants , but is left empty.
In a fit of rage, he smashes the stadium and as Shu states “His flare will swallow him hole” meaning he would probably go insane.(images 3-4)

Fast forward to the ultimate tag series, Shu attempts to free Lain of his own flare and set him towards the path of good . He teams up with him, to try to make his flare more pure. But he is not the only one who has a role in fixing Lain.

Hyuga and Hikaru (the mc’s of the story) got their new sparking beys and they develop flare as well..but unlike lains which is dark , it’s pure and doesn’t corrupt them.Lain is intrigued by their flare but is a bit disgusted as well..since he thinks of them as nothing but worthless due to him previously destroying their previous beys.He thinks their not worth his time.

And that’s where his conflict starts to appear.

The next main battle is Rantaro and Valt vs Lain and Shu. During this battle , Lain is caught off guard and is knocked out of the stadium by Valt. Here truly Lains flare starts to shift , during Shu and Valts battle..he tries to release his flare..only to realize it’s not coming out as did before( Shu was expecting this ofc)

And finally..the final battle . The hizashi bros vs Lain and Shu .
Basically the first round starts a bit bad for lain , as he and Shu’s teamwork wasn’t that great, as they get knocked out. But then Shu’s words finally hit home on Lain , and finally..his flare is satisfied and becomes pure.

Now on to the second battle , Shu and lain beat the twins and the epic final match begins.
Man this match was amazing , the level of animation was intense and I personally loved it.

The show ends with Lain and the brothers walking off in a distance..
Sadly we don’t see lain in the next seasons , possibly due to the controversy to his character,
tho I appreciate the cameo they made of him.

Putting Story aside , is this the best battle Valt and Lui had ?

I would assume it is..I mean after turbo they never had a proper 1v1 , I think.

How much money do you guys think Legendary bladers make prob millions?Im asking this question bc, i suddenly remembered that Lui owns a literal goddamn island... so i was like, damn is his family that rich or does he make a lot of band ?

Like this shit is insane, does beyblade pay that well.

And according to the wiki , lui owned the island since he was 12....

Aside from the Shu vs Lui , this is top 2 rivalries in burst

Lui and free were goated just like that..it’s a shame they were nerfed during turbo ( no hate to turbo btw..still a goated series)

Why Beyblade burst sparking/Surge is in my top three

I’m actually tired of people acting like Beyblade Burst Sparking (Surge) is some bottom-tier season.
Like… did we even watch the same show?
For me, Sparking is comfortably Top 3, and I’m standing on that.
1. The Cast Was Absolutely Stacked
This season was lowkey a fan’s dream.
You had Valt, Shu, Lui, Free, Aiger, Silas, Rantaro, plus Lain, Hikaru, Hyuga, and the rest.
The amount of aura on one screen was actually crazy. It finally felt like the Burst universe was connected instead of pretending older characters didn’t exist.
2. The 2v2 Battles Were Such a W
This is something people don’t give Sparking enough flowers for.
The 2v2 format was genuinely one of the best ideas Burst ever introduced.
Seeing legends team up instead of only fighting each other was so refreshing.
Lui and Dante.
Shu and Lain.
Valt and Rantaro.
Free and Sisco.
The chemistry, strategies, and teamwork made every match feel different.
Those battles had me locked in every episode. Huge W.

3.The Legends Still Had Their Aura
This is probably my favorite thing about Sparking.
They didn’t nerf everyone just so the new generation could farm wins.
Lui was still moving like an absolute demon.
Free still had that effortless confidence.
Shu was still playing chess while everyone else was playing checkers.
Valt still felt like the World Champion.
The legends never lost their aura, and that’s exactly how it should be.
4
. Lain Isn’t Just “Plot Armor”
This take gets recycled every other week.
Did Lain get strong fast?
Yeah.
Was the pacing rushed?
Also yeah.
But acting like he woke up overpowered is just cap.
Shu literally trained him, taught him resonance, helped him control Lucifer, and pushed him to improve.
You can criticize the pacing all you want, but saying there was no explanation is just ignoring the story.

5. The Biggest Flaw? The Pacing
I’m not gonna glaze the season because no series is perfect.
The pacing definitely could’ve been better.
Give this season another 10–15 episodes and let Lain, Hikaru, Hyuga, and the supporting cast breathe a little more.
That’s honestly my biggest complaint.

6. The Hype Was Actually Unreal
Every few episodes something crazy was happening.
Legend battles.
2v2 fights.
New evolutions.
Big rivalries.
The season kept feeding us hype moments. It barely gave you time to get bored.
I was genuinely locked in.
7. Final Thoughts
People putting Evolution or Turbo above Sparking?
Fair enough. Those seasons are elite too.
But acting like Sparking is mid is a fucking buns take
Sparking gave us:
A stacked cast.
The best 2v2 battles in Burst.
Old cast and new cast flushes greatly
Peak animation.
Banger battles.
Great soundtrack.
Some of the coldest Bey designs in the franchise.
Call me biased if you want, but I’m dying on this hill.
Beyblade Burst Sparking is Top 3, and I don’t think that’s a hot take at all. Y’all gotta stop sleeping on this season.

This my only complaint in Turbo

It’s goddamn Lui . Like why couldn’t the writers include him more , I feel like he was the most underused this season. Even in surge he has a bigger role.

He loses to aiger ( plot armor man) in the first 14 episodes and fucking disappears .Like I know he was defeated but you could have still included him in other arcs, especially the dread tower. Imagine the fights , Shu vs Lui ( round 4 , chronologically speaking) , Lui could battle Hyde (prob beats him idk) and even fight Phi ! Yes I know he would lose but that would still have him get involved in the story more.

He also could have gotten an upscale in power and not his only feat being bursting a z Achilles and wonder valtryek .

And too add to the story , we could have gotten to know how Lui matured more and how his beef with Shu and valt got settled.

I also feel like he could have been like free and tried to prove he’s still the top dog in the verse and could give a good fight against Hyde , Shu ,Free , Dark aiger .

Could maybe give a fight to phi..tho..Luinor would probably end up in pieces 💀

Anyways..that’s my complaint . If you have some things to talk about..speak and I’ll discus you’re opinion

u/No_Razzmatazz4887 — 19 days ago

Which antagonist main move is most visually appealing to you

My personal rankings are
1.Lain
2phi
3.Gwyn
4.Shu
5.Lui

I put Lui at last for obvious reasons (animations holds it bac)
I don’t think Shus is bad , but compared to the others it’s animation is a bit less saturated
Gwyns is amazing tbh , but I wish his bey got more screen time
Phi..where do I begin , almost all of his moves are majestic ..especially dread cannon crush
And then we have lain..I don’t care what anybody says..animation peaked at surge and his final limit breaker was god tier

Lain Valhalla doesn’t have plot armor

I’m honestly tired of people throwing around the term “plot armor” whenever Lain Valhalla wins.
Did Surge have pacing issues? Absolutely. Lain’s rise happened way too fast, and the anime didn’t spend enough time showing his progression. That’s a valid criticism.

But that’s a pacing problem—not plot armor.
People forget that Lain was already Shu Kurenai’s student before the season even started. Shu, one of the greatest bladers in the world, personally trained him because he recognized his talent. Lain didn’t randomly appear as some kid who suddenly surpassed everyone overnight—he already had elite training and was established as a prodigy before the main story began.

His power also isn’t unexplained. The series introduces Flare as Surge’s new power system, just like Resonance was in previous seasons. Whether you like Flare or not, it’s a consistent mechanic within the story. Lain getting stronger through Flare isn’t any more “plot armor” than characters in earlier seasons growing through Resonance.

People also say he “just screamed Flare and won,” but that’s oversimplifying his character. His entire arc is about becoming consumed by his obsession with strength. Flare is a representation of that obsession, and Shu repeatedly tries to teach him to control it rather than be consumed by it.

Could the anime have shown more training? Definitely.
Could it have given him another 10–15 episodes to make his growth feel more natural? Absolutely.
But “should’ve been developed more” ≠ “plot armor.”

If anything, the biggest issue with Surge is that it rushed Lain’s development instead of letting us watch it happen. The destination makes sense because of his background as Shu’s student and his established talent—the journey just wasn’t fleshed out enough

If your complaint is that the story never explained why he was strong, that’s simply not true.

Ps: had to delete this 2 times due to me forgetting to add photos

Edit : I used ai to correct my words and that’s it , the ideas and writing I made are still my original ideas

Who’s winning this

Let’s take both versions of the beys against each other , so the bladers have bother their pre and post evolution versions(and explain who wins)
