But TLDR I have a Victorian era rules lite, multisplat play-by-post rp. Mostly oWoD, but I have cherry picked some stuff from other editions, and homebrewed in the gaps. I have a (Hermetic?) mage NPC who runs a shop that contains multiple Magik artifacts, enchanted/ chimeric items, collects Garou teeth (lawfully purchased), and they have a small library hidden away.

I need help deciding the best spheres for them, the dot levels, and their affinity. Prime and Matter make the most sense, but I'm open to suggestions!

I run a Victorian era rules lite play-by-post multisplat rp. It's a monstrous cherry- picked mess of editions, with some home brew, but usually I use oWoD material. I started my foray into oWoD with VtM, and expanded to WtA, CtD, WtO, DtF, and now I'm finally looking into MtA. (I'll get to mummy someday 🥲) I've watched some videos on YT, so I have some understanding of spheres, the different traditions, and the timeline of some major events.

A bit about the mage: Wolfgang is probably a Hermetic since they deal with artifacts. My Pooka (a late bloomer) has stolen one of these items (a chimeric mask), and it has become such an integral part of their identity that the mask showed up in their mien after Chrysalis. I figure Prime and Matter would be a good start for most magical item tinkering and evaluation/ appraisal. I am not certain if he should have more spheres, what dot rating each should be, or even which one should be the affinity sphere. I'd appreciate input!
