We are looking for recommendations of different lakes that are great or interesting paddleboarding spots.

Preferably not in twin cities or close by (we have done a lot of those) looking for different places to go out to to expand on enjoying this beautiful state. We have inflatable boards and I am comfortable with hiking out to a spot carrying the board in my backpack if thats crucial to finding the spot.

Pretty much just what the title says. I have been looking for something that fills the spiritual hole of Jurassic Park 3 but to no avail. I simply can not keep watching this movie. This does not mean Dinosaur based. One movie that comes close is The Crazies (2010). Idk how to explain it further, but I hope that someone out there understands what I mean
