Customer Service is absolutely infuriating
I've had the same @shaw.ca email for 15+ years. Over 5 years ago, after selling a business, I specifically contacted Shaw to have the email transferred back to my personal account. I got the required authorization from the new owner, and Shaw told me the transfer was completed.
Fast forward to today: I forgot my password and need access because my mailbox is at 90% capacity.
I spent 3 HOURS dealing with customer service. Chat sent me to business support, gave me the wrong number, then another department told me I'm not authorized on the account and there was nothing they could do. I asked for a manager and was refused. Just told no, there’s nothing we can do for you, no solution offered at all.
This is an email address in my name that I've used for 15+ years, that I’ve had access to the entire time until today. The kicker, is the email account is my actual first and last name @shaw.ca. If Shaw failed to properly transfer it five years ago, that's their mistake—not mine.
I just want them to check their records, fix the account, and give me access to my email.
Has anyone else dealt with this? How the hell did you get Shaw/Rogers to actually fix it?
