How to upgrade my map?

Hey everyone! I’d like to share my newest map, still a work in progress, which is exactly why I’m posting it now.
I’m not an expert in geography or cartography, so I’ve hit a wall and could really use some guidance. I’ve included three maps in this post:

•	Tectonic plates (rough, sorry!)
•	Ocean currents
•	Dominant winds

Where I’m stuck: I’ve been spinning my wheels for two days. I think the next step is placing mountains, then using the wind and ocean current maps to determine wet vs. dry regions but I’m not confident I’m doing it correctly.

Could anyone walk me through the right process for this? And once climate is sorted, how do I go about assigning biomes? Any detailed explanation would be hugely appreciated!

Also, if you have any general tips or feedback on the maps overall whether it’s about the plate layout, current patterns, or anything else I’d love to hear it. I’m very much still learning, so all advice is welcome!

I have a problem. I'm currently writing the first draft of my novel, and I can't stop focusing on the fact that one chapter is 15 pages long, the next is two pages long. Does this matter during the first draft? Or should I not worry about it at all?

I've tried to write this novel several times now, and each time I gave up because I started to worry too much about the broadly understood "appearance" of the text, instead of what's really important, which is the content itself. It seems I'm doing the same thing now, and I don't want to waste my work again, because I've already written over 120 pages.

Pomocy!!!
