coping with losing this battle

just distraught and grieving what could’ve been such an amazing concert experience :( idk if I can stomach buying resale when I just lost out on the ticket requesting just seems so heartbreaking to spend that much when it could’ve been a fulfilled request instead 😢

are plateaus real?

i see how as we lose weight our tdee also decreases, if we don’t shift our habits to a greater caloric deficit after weight loss, is that how the plateau happens?

wanted some advice from fellow short ppl out there: at 5’0 and started at 180 on 3/23 this year and currently 167 on 5/5.

My tdee says 1950 to maintain so I’ve been at a net calorie intake of 1500 ish, if I’m closer to 1800 I do cardio to bring my overall net calories down. Is this the safest way to go? I have had a very turbulent relationship with food since preteen years and finally approaching this with a more objective and positive view as a mid-twenties adult. I’ve also struggled with binge eating all my life and have unlearned a lot of bad habits since moving out and living on my own. I just want to finally do this the right way and as a lifelong positive change to my life. All advice is appreciated :)
