Here are some examples of the finish I’m trying to achieve (first photo),
In the second and third photo (larger knife) demonstrates a blade I stonewashed - my best attempt at replicating the finish. I used 1 inch triangle ceramic media in a rotary tumbler and then lightly went over with a polishing wheel at 1000 grit
Trying to achieve that slight semi polished look on top of the stonewash.
Is there a certain media I need to be using? Does the blade need to be polished before the stonewash?
Hoping to one day make my own blades, though I’d like to get the small modifications and details down first

Straightened the spine and gave it a custom stonewash, took some time to get that finish I wanted, still not perfect but getting closer.
