I am a 91 +12 mage. I have all the 1-8th SPs. +5 sp1 sp2, +0 sp3, +0 but level 50 sp4, +9 41 sp5, +11 70 lvl sp6, +11 51 lvl sp7 26 perfection, sp8 +12 99 5 perfection. I have the base c10 equipments. I want to buy the c25 28 equipment earlier. What stats should I look for the most? And what price range theyre usually at? For example %13 dmg r7 staff is at 50m with some more good stats. Is this a fair price? I'm on dragonveil.
I saw something very similar...
My mother (49F) had two brain surgeries regarding metastasis (cervix cancer stage 4). She is clean for now but later developed severe delirium/confusion after ICU stay. She had a seizure and had to be hopitilized. The seisure is, quoting the doctors, a focused one. It only happens in one particular part of the body (in this case her frontal lobe, next to her optic tracts. Thats where he had a surgery from) looking for experiences/advice.
I’m trying to understand whether what we are seeing is closer to ICU delirium, medication side effects, neurological damage, or something else. Doctors say ICU delirium is common, but the situation has become very difficult at home and I want to hear from people who experienced something similar.
Timeline:
My mother had brain-related surgeries and later had a seizure around March 27.
She eventually improved enough to leave ICU and was transferred to the normal ward around April 10. Although she started experiencing the side efects of the surgery AFTER the seizure, not before. Left side being weak and thrombocytes not working properly.
During that first ward stay she was actually MUCH better mentally. She had very mild confusion only. Occasionally she would mistake things visually (for example seeing a stain and thinking it was a phone), but she could hold conversations normally and did not have these repetitive behaviors.
Then she developed breathing problems / lung infection and had to return to ICU again.
After leaving ICU again around May 13-14, everything changed mentally.
Current symptoms:
Severe fluctuation in awareness and cognition.
Some mornings she can answer questions meaningfully and recognize everyone correctly.
Later in the day or especially at night she may only repeat “mom mom mom” for long periods while moving her right arm repeatedly or biting her fingers softly.
Usually she recognizes me fully, just once for 1-2 minutes she asked “who are you?” and later recognized me again.
She remembers older memories surprisingly well (for example exact prices of old purchases), but struggles badly with new memories and dates.
She often does not know the current month/day.
She sometimes acts almost child-like when confused.
When uncomfortable (needs toilet, constipation, can’t sleep, etc.) the repetitive speech and confusion get much worse, saying "Mom mom mom mom mom mom" while waving or biting her right hand.
She sleeps a lot during the day because she has these attacks at night.
At night she wakes up every 2-3 hours repeating words again.
She cannot sit up or stand on her own. Severe weakness after ICU stay.
Left arm movement is very limited, but she can still open/close her left hand.
Legs move but are too weak to support her body.
Things that seem important:
Her confusion clearly worsened AFTER the second ICU stay, not after the surgeries themselves.
Symptoms fluctuate heavily. Sometimes she laughs appropriately, understands jokes, talks normally for short periods.
Emotional recognition seems preserved most of the time.
The confusion gets dramatically worse when stressed, uncomfortable, sleepy, or overstimulated.
Current medications:
Keppra / Epixx
Lamotrigine / Lamide
Lyrica
Serax (Oxazepam)
The Serax seems to help her fall asleep but maybe worsens daytime confusion/sedation. Since starting it she often becomes very sleepy and less communicative, although nighttime agitation still continues.
Questions:
Has anyone seen ICU delirium last this long after discharge?
Did symptoms fluctuate this dramatically for your family member?
Can delirium cause temporary failure to recognize close family for a few minutes?
Did rehabilitation / physical therapy help cognitive recovery too?
Did anyone experience worsening confusion specifically after benzodiazepines like oxazepam?
I know nobody online can diagnose her. I’m mainly trying to understand whether this pattern sounds familiar to people who went through severe ICU delirium recovery.
Thank you.
(I made mostly chatgpt write and organize this. I've been talking to it since March 27.)
