I was playing with my friend and they told me they had demotion protection, even though i have literally never had that in my entirety of playing ranked, whats going on? Is it only available to certain players?? Wtf?
Made a post a couple weeks ago about being hardstuck plat. I made sure to keep all the advice I got in mind to improve. It took around 200 more games, all of which were in solo qued in plat 1. Not the greatest stats, but im happy.
My biggest takeaway is that once you solo q to atleast plat 2, getting a team is the easiest way to break through to diamond. However, if solo queing is still the only option left, the key difference i noticed was my belief and confudence in playing. Rotations and positioning aside, if you dont enter a fight without having the confidence to isolate atleast 1 member and WIN the 1v1, you already lost. My best games came from the minute changes i made in my attitude, which eventually compounded to create better opportunities for me to position well and secure placement and KP.
