HYSA vs Investing

Trying to figure out why people are chasing fractions of a percent in one HYSA vs another instead of simply investing the money. Opening a brokerage account is no more difficult than a HYSA, many come with zero fees/minimums.

Once you open a brokerage you have thousands of investments to choose from. I compared the growth of 10k for a few "fixed income" investments, all returning over 3.5% in the past year. Attached are screenshots showing 1yr and 5yr returns/volatility for each. As with most investments, better returns are paid with higher volatility.

Need to move/deposit 6 figures.

I need to move money to Fidelity that exceeds my mobile deposit amount and daily bank transfer amount. What is the best way to move a 6 figure balance? Not in a retirement account.

Buy now, or wait to see if it gets cheaper?

How many of you think we're close to your bottom, how many waiting to see if it drops further? How many are getting out?
