instructor lost my final exam
as the title states, my professor or TA lost my final exam for a required course. I am a senior that graduates this term. however, my professor gave me an incomplete and told me that the registrar informed him I never took the final exam—which is a lie. now my professor is saying I have to retake the course since apparently my exam is gone.
I emailed him back and told him that one of my TA's saw me there and could vouch for me since we actually have good rapport. additionally, the same TA took my attendance and collected my exam.
I informed my professor about this, but was wondering if anyone has gone through a similar situation and how it was resolved? I dont want to retake the class since this is not a mistake I made and I just want to make sure I can actually get a job after college.
