Dungeon and Town upper levels

Has anybody heard anything about the expansion packs; Dungeon Upper Levels and Town and Village Upper Levels? They focused on building vertically with things like balconies.

They were originally scheduled to be released May of 2025 but were later canceled.

What do you use for balconies? How do you handle vertical challenges?

Legal Question

A couple questions for the forum:

  1. Would it be legal to have my son 3-D print out Warlock Tiles for me?

  2. Does anybody have the "files" or whatever they are that are needed?

Thank you all for reading this. I don't want to break the law; I just want more floor tiles and do it in a thrifty way.

Well, I went to create a room...

So, I went to create a room in which there was going to be an expansive battle in. While in the proccess of building it, discovered that I did not have nearly enough floor tiles!

Now mind you, I have:

Dungeon Tiles II

Dungeon Tiles II Expansion

Dungeon Tiles III Expansion

Town & Village II

Town & Village II Expansion

And yet not enough floor tiles to make the single room I wanted. I'll be honest, I went into this with grand ideas. Now I'm thinking that I'll just use the printed-out battle maps for floors and just use the walls for most of my builds.

So, my question to all of you is what do you do in this case? Do you go out and just buy more tiles? Do you do like I did and print out a battle map and cut it down to size? I've seen the 2"x2" and the 8"x2" tiles for sale on Ebay, but those are the only things I've seen for sale.

I've been seriously considering just using my cardboard box. I'll glue a stone floor battle map to it and just use the wall pieces to make my rooms. Do any of you do this?

FYI, the room in question was DotMM, 3rd level room #6. I'll take a pic of it later and post. It'll give a clearer view of what I meant by using the box and battle maps.

Hello all

Hello everybody. I just joined the channel and am looking forward to seeing all the great builds.

I've been playing D&D for a very long time. Warlock Tiles (WT) are one of my favorite things to ever be a part of it. Before discovering them, I used butcher paper and loose pieces of terrain placed in large cut down cardboard boxes. They were easy to move around and just plop on the table.

Now I build the scene with WT in the box for ease of moving it around w/o pieces falling off. It also allows me to hide the box in another room until needed.

I only build a setting when there is a pivotal part in the story or a big fight. My players know something exciting is about to happen when I come into the room with the cut down box.

So far, I have collected a few of the WT base sets. I unknowingly have also collected quite a few Accessory kits w/o realizing that they were a part of the WT world.

My current group of players are going through the DotMM. Hopefully they will be entering the third level next session. I'm hoping that they make it to the temple. I'll post pics after the session.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of your builds!

Hello all!

I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I recently joined the forum and am looking forward to learning more about the game. I've played D&D since... let's just say a looong time. I just recently learned of SW5e and my head exploded!

I can't leave w/o asking a question. Is there a way to use your own Dex modifiers for a shoulder blaster? I ask this as I'd like to get one, as my Dex is higher than the 15 that the blaster already has, I'd like to use my own modifier.

Bonus question! Can you mount a shoulder blaster on each shoulder if you take Dual Wielding?

Thanks for being here and reading this far. I'm looking forward to discussing everything SW5e with you all!

New player with question.

Hello all,

I'm going to be playing in a SW5e campaign. I've played D&D for decades and can't wait to try this. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

I'll be playing a Droid, type IV Scout. My question is concerning the shoulder cannon. I can't get a grasp on the reload. It has... Dang it, TLDR; do you need to reload it after every shot?

There, got it out. We're having session Zero today and we'll start playing next weekend. Thank you all for being here!
