Me again, still swaying, figured out why

Me again, still swaying, figured out why

Turns out it’s the bushings for the rack 500$ in front end parts later. Anyways, I got the bushings added and I was also shown a steering column damper (or eps coupler?) and the problem I’m running into is idk if mine EPS has one?? (Probably a stupid assumption) I keep searching for some for my lancer and I just keep finding Toyota couplers? Am I missing something or do all eps take the same star coupling??? Yes I know not to trust google ai that’s why I’m coming to reddit(is that any better? Probably not) and if there is one that goes in there could someone link me to it??

So as state in a post a couple of you saw, swaying, unaligned, pothole, yada yada. Saw a few of you suggest the electric power steering rack, did some digging to price out a new one and well…. 600$ is the cheapest for a remanufactured and though I can do that doesn’t necessarily mean I want to. From what I’ve gathered the ES gets the shorter end of the stick for the trims so important components like that are not made now, anyways to be expected I guess.

Now if I have to I will however I did notice that 3rd party manufacturers do produce the belt driven power steering rack still, so my question is what all would I need for that conversion?? I’m already in the process of converting the drums to discs in the rear by swapping the trailing arms.

To basically sum it up I’ve replaced just about everything on the front end and yet I still sway on the road and car pulls either left or right and is much worse in windy conditions. Steering wheel is stiff but my car just refuses to stay still. To my knowledge the car hasn’t been in an accident. The plastic paneling that runs along the underside of the bumper has a massive piece broken off so I’m sure that doesn’t help, I’ve done at least 6 alignments over the last two months from how often I’ve taken apart the front suspension but even when straight I gotta cock the wheel a little, after recent alignment now I have to hold the wheel at a slight angle to the right to keep straight(still swaying while doing this mind you). About a week and a half ago I hit a gnarly pothole, idk if that adds anything.

I’m completely stumped rn, car has 139k miles on and over the last few months to realistically few weeks I’ve replaced:

Tie rods outer and inner

Sway bar bushing and end-links, even installed the rear stabilizer

Front and rear struts

Front hub bearings (rear in a few days)

Motor mounts

Front end wise the only thing that has yet to be replaced was the lower control arms, they were replaced about a year ago, everything in the kit I got them In but those has since been replaced

Rear wise I’ve only replaced the lower rear control arm other than that, if the previous owner didn’t change them then all bushings and components in the rear are factory.
