Cancelled my order…

Bought a certified pre owned instead!

Was getting a ‘26 MY Premium RWD Stealth Gray. Ordered 8/2 and was given October delivery, then 8/16-8/31, then 8/24-9/21, and hadn’t been assigned a VIN.

For $8k less I’m getting:

2024 MY AWD Long Range
Red
Has Auto Steer
HW4 FSD
298/308 Range, 96%, just over 20,000 miles
Tow Package

The depreciation from new is substantial, $13,700 below MSRP in 2 years is $570/month. I figure I’m getting a like new car with the warranties while keeping the Auto Steer and same FSD hardware. Saving about $1,600 between taxes and registration helps offset the loan interest since I’ll be paying 6% instead of .99%.

They’re also crediting the $250 deposit on the 2026.

After years of driving a Nissan Leaf I couldn’t be more stoked, can’t wait to pick it up!

How are these listed for $5,750 more than new?

The waiting is the hardest part…

A lot of new inventory has been moving through Colorado and frequently updated in the app. Almost changed to a blue one yesterday instead of waiting for my gray RWD Premium, but don’t like the color enough to pay the extra $1k and I’ve got until October before I’m without a car.

If I see a red one without other upgrades I’ll take it as a sign and pull the trigger….
