Question about the golden weapon aura

Hey everyone, I have a question about the golden weapon effect.
Yesterday I was playing with some friends and noticed that their Thermal Fists and some other weapons had a golden aura/glow around them. Other players on the same map had it as well.
I also have several weapons that are gold, but I don’t have this golden aura on them. Some of my weapons are completely finished, except for the Mega Overcharged upgrades. However, I even have one weapon where that shouldn’t be the reason, and I still don’t have the golden effect.
So I’m wondering:
Is the golden aura tied to a specific achievement, upgrade, or requirement that I haven’t completed yet? Or could this be a bug?
I’d really appreciate it if someone could explain what I’m missing. 😅
Thanks!

A few days ago, I saw a post where a player asked: “What would make a Rift feel epic to me?”

What would make a Rift feel truly epic to me?
Small Rifts are already fun, but I’d love to see more emphasis on different roles/classes — Tanks, DPS, Healers, Mages, and especially Summoner classes.
For me, an epic Rift would be something much bigger, similar to the 10-player Rift we had at the end of Season 2.
Not just a bigger boss, though. I’d love an actual dungeon-like experience leading up to the boss, with different encounters and challenges that require the team to work together and make use of different classes.
Then you reach the boss chamber and have a multi-phase boss fight, maybe 3 phases, with different mechanics in each phase.
I’d also prefer these Rifts to be genuinely difficult and require well-built/high-level characters. I know that could be rough for newer players, but that’s where things like Elite Contracts could give them other options.
Basically:
Small Rifts = fast, fun and flexible.
Epic Rifts = bigger groups, dungeon progression, class synergy, high difficulty and an epic multi-phase boss fight.
That would be the kind of Rift I’d genuinely get excited about.

Wie sind Leute Level 30 und höher ?

Hey, first of all, everything’s fine—we all play a lot.
But if the XP bank is supposedly capped at around 300k XP (as far as I know), and the season has only been live for 3 days, that’s about 900k XP max (or 1.2 million, depending on how it works).
Then you also have:
7 Rift runs × 25k XP
3 Daily Rifts × 25k XP
3 Daily challenges × 60k XP
That adds up to roughly 1.6 million XP in total. At 50k XP per level, that should put the maximum around Level 32–33.
So how are some people already way above that? It really seems like some kind of exploit, unfair bug, hack, or something else is being abused.
And please don’t tell me it’s just “skill.” When players who are 10 levels higher than me have 2,000 fewer Elite Tokens, or only a few hundred more, that just doesn’t add up.
It’s frustrating for players who are trying to catch up, especially since we’re only talking about one season. I’m not even talking about account level—that’s basically impossible to catch up on anyway, and long-time players absolutely deserve that progress.
Just had to get that off my chest. What do you all think?

Quick question about the Player ID

Do you guys also have a different Player ID than your Gamertag, or something else there? I just noticed that several players have different Gamertags and Player IDs. Does that mean anything, or does anyone know what it’s for?

What do you think about the new PvP mode from yesterday?

Who else enjoyed the 1v1 mode that was added yesterday? If they balance it a bit more and maybe add trophies or something similar, they could create a really cool ranked system alongside the existing ones. I think that could be a great long-term motivation, especially with rewards or other progression features. What do you guys think?
