OOT isn’t my favorite Zelda, but felt like playing it after officially announcing the remake. Last I’ve played was either late 2016 or early 2017 on the 3DS. I even skipped it on my pre-TOTK marathon.

that last time, I swore I would play and finish Master Quest, but didn’t do it because by Shadow and Spirit Temples, I wanted to just get over it, leaving Master Quest unfinished even having the WW pre order bonus, but didn’t go past Forest Temple.

Anyway, felt the itching for OOT, and started a few days ago. skipped the original and went straight to Master Quest, a long overdue challenge. I’ve just finished Forest Temple. I should be done with this game next Monday, tops. didn’t stop me, unlike back then as no older than 15. wish me luck.

I’m tempted to do so. I have just under 270 orbs, but those characters are all emblems, and they are both powerful in their own right, plus their engage effects. I got most, and I want Eirika the most, but having copies to fuse and buff ring holders would isn something to sneeze at. plus I save 30 orbs for the freebies. I’m so tempted

man, those guys really outdid themselves with that unofficial remake. they’ve really expanded the game. another thing I love about it are how greatly expressive the characters are. Earthbound franchise has a lot of charm and charisma. even though the characters are largely lacking in facial expressions, no one has any problems in filling up the blanks. But man, the range of expressions of Encore makes it an even better experience. Having the characters miniaturized like in Mother 3, but actually giving them animations makes it even more alive
