Thoughts on the movie and S4

Doing another rewatch of the series and something struck me as I was watching the movie and starting s4 (which idk if Im in the right headspace to finish this time haha):

Kristin Bell's acting completely shifts in the movie/S4 compared to the original seasons 1-3. She's much more serious and doesn't have as many zingers as in the early seasons.

Do we think this was a conscious decision by either her or R Thomas to make this character shift?

I would say Logan's character is also more serious in the movie and S4 but I think his is justified because of his storyline in the movie. However, Veronica is just as funny and light in season 3 even after everything that goes down in seasons 1-2, which is why the shift to her character being ultra serious in the movie/S4 seem more jarring.

Thoughts? Does this bother anyone else? I get that the movie and S4 gave R Thomas the ability to be "edgier" but idk I find her character shift a little distracting and kind of a downer tbh, compared to the original series.

My bachelors degree is completely unrelated (arts degree) and my career up to this point has just been administrative office work (non-medical). I've been thinking about going back to school but I'm wondering if it's even realistic at this point considering I'd be looking at 4-8 years for this field.

For those of you in this field: is it realistic to try to go back to school/pivot into this field at this age? Any other recommendations that are a less traditional path? I know I don't want to go into social work.

Thanks

Long story short: my store is in year 3 currently. I took too long to start running ads and because of that, I've only just started gaining momentum (as far as building a following, brand awareness, etc) this year.

However, on the books, I'm still not profitable. I still have an unrelated 9-5 that is bankrolling part of the business.

I'm going to be sold out of my current inventory by the end of this year so I need to decide if I should:

a) do another production run (I would likely need to fund this PO myself as well as take pre-orders)

Or

b) take this as a learning experience and close up shop

additional things to note:

- I don't have any investors or partners in this business and had no funding. I'm a solopreneur who funded this myself.

- I just got my Trademark approved last month (this was a costly investment)

- I've only done D2C to this point so if I keep going there's potential to add more selling channels

- while brand awareness is growing, my online following is still very small and CAC is still higher than it should be

- I have less than a 1% return rate and have multiple repeat customers which is validating

Any advice appreciated. The current situation is not sustainable for much longer and Im feeling pretty burnt out at the minute, but I'm torn about what I should do since we're still in early days. What would you do??

I'm selling bedding fyi
