Seeking design feedback: Accessible touch interfaces for Parkinson’s (No clinical data needed)
Hi everyone,
I’m working on Today Matters, an open-source project building a frictionless, standalone symptom-logging tool for people with Parkinson’s.
I'm looking for a few OTs who might be willing to participate in a 60-minute design focus group to discuss interface mechanics. I want to design layouts and touch targets that are actually usable for people dealing with fine motor changes, and I’d love to get your professional perspective on the common physical hurdles you see.
Note: This is purely a technical design discussion.
We are not gathering medical histories or patient records.
We do not want, and will not accept, any info that could identify a patient.
The goal is strictly to improve the usability of the tool itself.
If you’re interested in joining a session to share your thoughts on these design challenges, please send me a DM.
Thanks for your time and expertise.
Best,
Robbart
