Charging in NYC

I'd like to purchase an EV car, but charging coverage in Brooklyn, NY is rather poor at the moment. I do own a condo, but there is no parking lot and it's just street parking.

Does anybody know of the process for requesting or advocating for additional EV charging on your street.

Alternatively, has anybody had experience with running / installing charging from an apartment complex in the NYC area.

Any other advice or testimonials about owning and charging and EV car in NYC.

Any Experiences to Share on Recent Travel to the EU with a Pet Passport

Has anyone flown from the US to the EU with a dog since April, using an EU Pet Passport?

I understand there have been changes around how EU Pet Passports can be used, and I’m checking the official requirements separately, but instead I’m trying to understand the practical process changes since then:

  • Which airline did you fly?
  • Which EU country did you enter first?
  • At airline check-in, or when entering the country, did staff ask about EU Residency? What kind of documents are they asking for if any?

I’d really appreciate recent first-hand experiences from people who traveled after April as the rules were changed then

Has anyone traveled from the U.S. to Europe using an EU Pet Passport recently?

Has anyone here traveled with their pet using an EU Pet Passport since the new EU residency requirements went into effect earlier this year?

My understanding is that, as of April, EU Pet Passports are intended for pets whose owners primarily reside in the EU. I’ll be traveling from the U.S. to the EU with my dog, who already has a valid EU Pet Passport, and I’m trying to understand how this is actually being enforced in practice.

For anyone who has done this recently:

  • Were you asked to prove EU residency?
  • If so, what documentation did they ask for?
  • Did the airline check this, or was it handled at EU border/veterinary inspection?
  • Were you able to use the EU Pet Passport without issue when arriving from outside the EU?

I'm just trying to understand what travelers are actually experiencing and what documentation I should be prepared to bring. Thanks

Residency Requirement for EU Pet Passports

Has anybody tried using their EU Pet Passport since the new EU Residency requirements went into effect (basically, since April this year, you EU pet passports are now only for those that primarily reside in EU). Looking to know how they are enforcing the EU Residency requirement, and what documentation they are looking for.
