camera loss affecting my course selection
I'm in the journalism program right now and my school camera was being stolen during one of the filming. I emailed Seneca and also filed a police report right away. However, I did not get any reponse after that.
so im in a very hard financial situation right now and I still have a outstanding balance from the previous semester. I reached out to the service hub and they said I could have a one-time exception since I do made a couple of payment toward the tuition. and after that I emailed the conduct team to release my hold on the course selection. and they tell me is the camera loss that put me on hold??? I'm seriously confused right now cause they told me I owed them approximately $6000 for a school camera??? Seneca is such a scammer bruh.
A brand new Panasonic ag-cx350 is only $3700 on Walmart and with the microphone and batteries did not add up to $6000. and I haven't calculated the depreciation cost since it's a school camera. and even my sd card, my headphone and my blazer is gone.
They claimed that they reached out to me numerous times, but how come I received 0 emails from them. Honestly I somehow don't wanna be in this school anymore.
