I didn’t know seneca aviation tech (FPR) was in such demand that they are now offering people that have been accepted for september 2026 $7k and a guaranteed spot in 2027 just to move their studies by one year. This is actually crazy, i didn’t know they can just accept more people then they have room for. RIP to people currently on the waitlist and for people applying next year as there will already be people with guaranteed spots from 2026.

I’m about to start a 4 year nursing program at Seneca. Should I buy supplies now for example stethoscope etc or should I wait until my programs starts? Will my professors tell me what to get?

Can the persons who did this program or currently doing this program tell me what they did?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this program?

In particular any students that have taken the program?

I’m a 18y/o F starting flight school this fall. I have asked upper classmen of my program at Seneca what to study already, but I want more information.

What are your biggest tips on what to do before flight school (specifically ground school)?

All the girls in this industry: Where should I shop for my uniform? And what shoes should I get exactly…?

Canadians specifically: where did you buy all your ground school books? Any good priced ground school kits? With workbooks and extra items? I want to save on that.

If anyone is also willing to sell, lend or rent their books, that’ll be greatly appreciated!

Heyy, I’m starting Seneca FPR this September and I’m honestly so excited 😭✈️ Becoming a pilot has always been my dream, so I really want to make the most of the program.

Any current FPR students have any advice for a new student? Like things you wish you knew before starting, what to expect, classes, workload, what to buy, literally anything lol.

So I am planning on applying for the Seneca flight training program for 2027 September and so far I have a 90 4 course average and a 88 6 course average. Do I have a good shot?

Hello! First time enrolling at Seneca. When does Seneca normally confirm enrollment for OSAP? I’m just trying to see if I’m able to wait a bit before buying my back to school stuff (mature student relying on OSAP for school stuff.) I have some funds set aside but things like a laptop for my program I’m wondering if I could wait a little.

I'm starting the plea program at Seneca in september and I was wondering from anyone that's currently in the program, or finished the program of what's the vibe with the backpacks?

During my undergrad I always used a backpack but I'm wondering if I should use a purse instead?

Also do people dress up? I'm okay with dressing fancier like office casual but are jeans normal too?

I have 5 blocked ECE. Courses
I already completed COM and the required elective
So I will be taking 5 courses each says 3 unit each
I’m confused cause Seneca says 66% and osap says 60% how does that work ?

I was just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the usual organizations Seneca BSNB students usually have their clinical placements with.

Are they usually only organizations in the GTA? Hospitals , LTC, Clinics, community?

Also, do they include pharmaceutical companies?

Has anyone had or heard a student have their clinical placement/consolidation in the ICU?
Any specific requirement for ICU placement (if any)
