Pets have been relocated. All that’s left is to build the stables.

During construction, I discovered that the cave itself offers no protection from the elements. Some equipment couldn't even be operated without walls and ceiling elements. So, I installed half-height glass walls on the platforms; the game engine registers these as walls, and the suspended ceiling above counts as a ceiling.

As for the batteries, I was initially puzzled as to why only three remained when I had placed seven. I eventually realized they had been destroyed by the weather because they were sitting on the cave's ceiling ledge. Consequently, I’ve now enclosed them in a glass container.

Five hours of construction work—and that’s just the beginning (base 5).

The interior fit-out and landscaping, as well as the complete Tier 4/5 technology, still need to be produced.

It’s a shame that you can only get rainwater and ice here, but can’t tap into the lake below.

This evening, I’m leaving my (now fourth) base in the northwestern forest biome on Olympus and moving to the arctic regions.

I’m going to build a huge glass structure there and set up my base inside it. So, another new challenge.

Modern house in ICARUS. Sleek yet cozy furnishing (interior decoration is still in progress). The workshop, greenhouse, and stable are housed in the outbuilding. It's only the beginning, though. Still plenty of work to do.
