Augusta is so car centric and I just moved here with no car. Is there any good places to make friends and maybe meet up with some young crowd? Like any parties or events anything like that? Just moved in from AZ a week ago and already losing my mind stuck in Martinez.
I lived in a place filled with lots of international people. I am telling from first hand experience people from Kerala should stop being this obsessed with all these non-Indian football teams. Its okay to support your favorite player or team to an extent but I have seen so many videos and even many of my Keralite friends are soo obsessed to a point where when Argentina lost yesterday they feel more depressed than a family member passing away. I have seen videos of people in Kerala spending hard earned money on modifying houses into Argentina flag style or England style cars like some of my friends are proper British and they do not even watch football and when they see like I have so many Spanish best friends but its even too weird for them to see this kind of obsession from a state in a country like India which has more than 1.5 bill people in it and yet they couldnt even produce a proper team. No one all these football foreign team obsessed fans atleast make a petition or something to replace the corrupt football regiment in India and to make a proper squad for the country instead of crying messii pessi lost or argentina is my team or I even saw a poor kid who suffered a stroke when Brazil team lost in 2022 like Brazilian people used to live opposite of my place and they were very rude in general like what am I seeing here? Kerala is definitely going somewhere mentally.
By far from what I have seen the hiring team is one of the most useless teams to exist. I dont understand what do they even do? ATS or some bullsht software runs all the incoming cvs through some filter maybe select 2 or 3 cvs out of a batch of 1000 by that time the position might already be filled by someone inside or through some reference. Also the way these job application sites are built so frustrating especially WORKDAY. Also some of them ask for 3-4 references just during applying like come on now what the f*k? Atleast ask for references while going through the first stage of interview.
