nervous!

hi everyone i’m f27, 5’2” and 225. my doctor recommended contrave for weight loss. she did say it would be a lifetime medication which already has me anxious
but i’m on 200mg of sertraline and 100mcg of levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. i have gnarly anxiety (especially about health go figure)

have any of you had negative mental health/extra anxiety from this? or fast heart rate? i’m highly considering starting because this weight is STUBBORN and the food noise is LOUD! i’ve never taken weight loss medication before

she just comes back with vengeance

i need ideas!
i had the scar on my chest, it’s been there for years and over time slowly got bigger. i also have them on my shoulders (ill attach pictures of those too). i’ve been to a few dermatologist and some say they’re keloids and some say hypertrophic scars. i honestly don’t know what caused them, other than maybe a gnarly sunburn forever ago??
ANYWAY
they’re so painful and itchy i occasionally use scar sheets. i’ve done steroid shots and they didn’t do anything. in june 2025 i had the one on my chest removed and did srt treatment for it
but by golly has she came back worse than ever. honestly i wish i wouldn’t have gotten it removed
what have you found gives you relief?????

pictures aren’t great, but the first is before removal until now. the last two are of my shoulders

back pain

hi everyone! i’ve read that back pain up between your shoulder blades is common. but during a flare i get it in the middle of my back, where i imagine my kidneys are. usually on the right side, but sometimes all the way across
i went to my doctor about this, thinking it was my gallbladder or something. we eventually did a scope, and i was diagnosed with chronic gastritis. she said that’s the root of my back pain

anyone else have their back pain manifest that way?
