Made my third loaf of bread ever

I think it came out nice! My kid is excited to eat “all of it” so I’ll let you know how he thinks it is

This is the first two times I’ve ever made bread or baked at all really

As I mentioned in my last post, my son is on the carb train these days and I wanted to learn how to bread. Still a ways to go but these both got eaten as either garlic bread or just ripped up with butter.

Gonna keep baking - kid seems to enjoy it and I like my house smelling like baked goods.

Fourth thing I’ve ever baked, and first time trying bagels

They’re small, but they taste ok! My kid is going through a phase where he’s super into plain bagels so I figured I’d give it a shot. They jank, but they work.

My Opa passed back in '09 and I've had the sideboard (that I call a bench) since then. In that time, I became a Dad, then a single Dad and never in that time learned how to refinish anything. I was never really taught how to do cool things like that when I was younger.

Flash forward a few years, my son is older, we just moved to a new place and I wanted to take a stab at it. The bench came out nice, the painting today went well and we got this contour chair for next to nothing, delivered, this past weekend.

Anyway, hoping to get some more MCM stuff to fill the rest of the house. Really enjoying finding new things!
