My little side project is almost complete!
The only thing ive been annoyed with so far on the new models is the lack of rear tail light.. couple more modifications and she will be done! Is anyone else interested in this? Im thinking of doing a video or step by step process with all the wiring and parts needed and some tips along the way!
Okay lads and laddettes, back at it again with the great aprilia urgent service light. I have now deleted the Evap canister and the one way valve going to it. This definitely has stopped how common the service light was popping up. But recently it just happened again, and I couldn't help but notice that when it did happen the fuel level gauge went from 3/4th full to one bar... now i dont know if this is just what happens when it throws that specific error or if the error is causing the fuel gauge to go to almost empty. If it is the later then im going to have a stab in the dark and think that the fuel level sending unit is the cause of all of this. I took it to aprilia for them to read the codes but all that was on there was a stored "environmental factor" code. Nothing to do with the fuel or evap system.... itll only ever throw a code after hard acceleration and not normal riding. I have a scan tool on the way so will be interesting to see what I can capture on it and see where this code is coming from.. would any have any ideas?
