Help me justify cost to my wife…

I know this has been asked several times, but now that a lot of people have had time to add hours and miles onto the rigs, is the premium for the falcon SP2 really worth it over the Bilstiens? I badly need new shocks, and I need a very good reason to justify the cost to my wife!

An honest question

At what point for the average person in our field does experience give you the same or more training than a degree? This company seems to think that number is over 20,800 hours of work, which seems high to me.

I am not anti education at all, but does 15 hours a week 2/3rds of a year for four years actually trump the 40hr x 52wk x 10 yrs here?

Our power company came by today and told us they’re going to be taking down our 150-year-old oak tree in our front yard. According to property boundary map that I got when I purchased a home five years ago that tree is outside of the public utilities easement. Previously, they have only trimmed the branches around the powerlines, but now that they say they’re going to be removing the entire tree, is there anything I can do about it in terms of compensation from them? Our property value is going to take a couple thousand dollar hit due to the removal of this tree, at least according to our realtor.
