Becoming an eligibility technician?
I want to get into the county social services/social work career sector. I was told by other older social workers that starting as an eligibility technician/worker was a good place to start for an entry level job. I am a recent college graduate.
Unfortunately, I am unable to find any job listings for that type of job in my entire county (orange). I’ve checked the government jobs website, indeed, and ziprecruiter. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a certain way I can go about this, and how do I go about becoming an eligibility technician? Thanks :)
