Bike set-up gravel

Ewan ko ba basta sobrang na hhype ako na meron na akong bike after a decade- here's my set-up:

  • Maxxis 45c tires
  • Shimano Claris STI
  • Shimano Sora for RD and chainwheel set
  • Shimano Cues for FD
  • Shimano RS305 mechanical flat brakes
  • Rhinowalk handlebar bag
  • Rockbros rearlight

So I did some research naman and I trusted my friend na he knows someone na Shimano certified na mechanic and I trusted them with this build.

They said na they replaced the original parts since chipipay talaga and takaw disgrasya especially the brakes and madali daw masira yung ibang stock parts. Also madulas din yung tires but I think overkill yung tires since I read na 40c is okay na but they experimented on this and napaganda pa nga (but tires expensive :<).

Braking power is nice for mechanical since I have an idea in comparison with the hydraulic ones.

Ayun, will review more once na I go to places and let's see if Shimano is still the Shimano I know 10 years ago.

Ride safe ebriwannnn <3

Also plug ko na dito yung social media page ko sa FB and IG if ever mwehehe.

First gravel bike

Just sharing here my first ever gravel bike.

I used to bike when I was back in our province. I was part of our local riding team when college struck me with reality and I had to sell my bike in order to complete my thesis (cried over it). One thing my buyer told me is that "makaka-bili ka rin ng mas maganda when you get to work na".

Took me a decade to finally buy myself a decent bike and I was honestly shocked that there are wireless thingies now.

Looking at my bike- sobrang far cry nya sa bakal ko na MTB back then. And I am having a blast with my new gravel.

Ride safe everyone! See you on the road! (Also planning to start doing reviews for entry level parts and accessories)
