Another update to the gas engine not turning on
So, I had this issue before where the gas engine won't turn on. Pedal to the floor, e-save, open hood, nothing would turn on the gas engine. There were no codes, nothing to indicate anything was wrong. Car could still drive just fine on the electric motor. First time I brought it in they tried to tell me that the issue was that I had e-save mode set to charge, which makes no sense. This time they're trying to tell me that the gas engine won't turn on because I drive in 4auto. That I must only drive it in 2wd. For a Rubicon this is absolutely bonkers. I'm going to continue to drive it in 4auto, and if I have to take it in again, it's lemon law time. I don't care if my lease is almost up. I hate that I like this car so much, but they've screwed this up so bad. Even if my car has no issues at all, and it has been pretty trouble free, this service department is not instilling any confidence.
