I am looking for help on a CAE study for a project. I want to assess for a clip insertion & pull-off forces into a metal interface.
The study needs to be done on Ansys Mechanical.
Non linear contact and elasto-plastic behavior must be considered.

I have to run multiple static structural non-linear analysis at high temperature environment, the clip is made from PA66.
I will be applying reaction forces and moments on a remote point at center of coordinate system while fixing the bottom area.
The purpose of the study is to assess durability/fatigue/damage under RF and RM
The issue is i don't have any S-N fatigue curves, i only have the stress-strain curves, i will be using a multilinear isotropic hardening law
What should i consider as stress and strain allowables to say i will have infinite life on this clip ?
