Finally got my sagging headliner fixed and the upholster talked me into suede, honestly I think it’s an improvement. Sadly I broke my sunroof after reinstalling wrong. 1 step forward 2 steps back lol

I replaced the upper clips, no help, I even doubled them up with the old and new and that kinda helped but it’s still sticking out. I really don’t want to glue it

After getting some tubing put back in where my cats were cut out I couldn’t stand how quiet this car was so I was looking around for exhausts. If you also looked for exhausts you’ll find that options are pretty slim however if you buy 2 mandrel bent SS pipe kits, an x pipe, and a couple flowmasters(all off Amazon) you can have a damn good exhaust all for under $500 with no bending required just some small cutting and welding. Everything fit really well and we ended up just cutting the stock muffler mounts off and putting them on the flowmasters and it worked flawlessly. Good rumble at idle and sounds great once you get higher in rpms. If I ever get enough money burning a hole in my pocket I might up it to 3 inch instead of 2.5 and knock the cats out while I’m at it and really open it back up again. This might be the first bimmer with flowmasters though lol.

Saved it from being scrapped and got it for $500, rebuilt motor pretty much everything new in it besides the pistons which were also in good shape after cleaning, currently out at the dealership to get its new abs module coded. Now it just needs paint corrected and its headliner fixed. This car ruined every other car for me I love it, heck of a project for a first car though.
