I recently posted here asking what could be used as a replacement for the foam in the battery compartment. A Redditor suggested an air wedge. I just wanted to report back that an air wedge works excellently as a replacement—perhaps even better than the original. It cost me €3.50.

My idea was to cut the brown wire to derestrict the bike and then use the software-based speed limit in the "advanced settings" to set it to 45 km/h whenever needed. Before anyone else gets the same idea: do NOT cut the wire until you know for sure that the software-based limiter actually works. In my case, it doesn't. Fortunately, I haven't cut the wire yet. None of the settings—25 km/h, 35 km/h, or 45 km/h—actually cap the top speed for me; I think this is the case for all L1e Talaria Stings. Also, I’ve often read that once you cut the brown wire, you can't simply reconnect it to restore the 45 km/h restriction. It seems like getting a new controller is the only option if you want to switch between restricted and unrestricted modes as needed. If anyone has found another way, PLEASE let me know. And please spare me the "just cut the wire and drive away, bro" talk on this post; I live in a major German city, and it’s not that easy to get away from the police here. German police are a bit unhinged when it comes to motorcycle chases.
Hey Guys, when i was 14-16 years old i was searching in this Subreddit for Help and Answers. If it will ever go away or if my brain is fucked for eternity. And i just came back here (im 19yrs old now) to tell anyone who reads this that it WILL go away. I know it seems like it will never go away but it will. My therapist back in the days said it maybe stays forever which made me go even more insane. Here a few tips an tricks which i learned in the years, which helped me getting back to normal:
Dont force yourself to be „normal“ again. You have to kind of accept that thats your reality now. If your brain always focus on the Derealization it will have no time to let it go.

DO SPORTS! For me personally, swimming was an instant switch to the „normal“ way of seeing the world. I think its because your brain thinks your in a survival situation so it turns the derealization off for a moment. There are also studies that Show that sport is helping with depression, which maybe works in kinda the same way.

SOCIALIZE! I know its hard to even speak with people but isolation is the last thing you wanna do when you have derealization. Just force your way back to the life you lived before it all started, so you can get back to your life before it all started.

DONT KILL YOURSELF. When i was 14 the derealization was at its peak and i really thought about killing myself because of it. You have to believe that it will get better and i can assure you IT WILL GET BETTER AND GO AWAY. I didnt really believe that it will ever go away because for me personally the derealization was triggered because of Cannabis and it was 24/7 present for almost half a year. After a half year i had like 10 minutes a day where it wasnt present. And these 10 minutes will add up to 15 min. And so on and on. After quite a while it will finally will go away, without you really realizing it.
STAY SOBER! Dont consume anything psychedelic or Weed EVER again. There is a very high chance that Psychedelics will trigger the Derealization. The Same with Weed. That Part of your Life has to go or you will never break free.

Hi everyone, I have an important question. I bought my Talaria brand new from a dealer a while back. At full speed, the speedometer always shows 41 km/h, even though I’m actually doing 50–55 km/h. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it? The police in Germany are very strict about this sort of thing, and the dealer is 250 km away.
