I’ve spent the last few months mapping out a specialized Chemical startup focusing on high-tech catalysts and TPU Resin Chemicals.

My Background:

  • I have a legal background (LLB), which helps with the complex international agreements.
  • I’ve scouted a virtual office in BKC to maintain a premium corporate presence.
  • My "side-hustle" reality: I’m working 9-5 in a secure job, so the business is structured with family as active directors while I provide 99% of the capital as a shareholder.

My concerns:

  • Trust: How hard is it to get a procurement head to trust a "new" Pvt Ltd., even with a premium BKC address?
  • Bypass Risk: As a person who doesn't touch the stock, what's the best way to keep the buyer and seller "hooked" on me for repeat orders?
  • Scaling: Is it possible to scale to ₹1Cr+ turnover solo before hiring a technical sales team?
  • Import or Export: Which one would be better to start with and how should I proceed with it?
