Weird question
So for context I was raised american Lutheran I was excomunicated from the Lutheran church didn't go to church for about 3-4 years lowest point of my life came a friend of mine asked if I wanted to go again I said sure now ben going to the sda church for 5 years now that being said here is the weird question I still have the bible from the Lutheran church I used to go to its my main study bible that I read and study from the cover has fallen appart and I basically made a new cover with camouflage duct tape the only type I had when I made the repair that being said every time I walk into my sda church alot of people give me and my bible strange looks and some members flat out saying I need to break down and get a new one I dont want to get rid of mine just for the simple fact I have a lot of study notes and stuff marked inside I dont know what do you all think i know i could touch up the cross i put on the front make it look a bit better but I dont know i want a outside opinion
