I have a 40 gallon tank and I have almost everything written down for what I need, but I'm having trouble looking for a place to buy a clean up crew and what I light I should for the plants, any help would be appreciated thanks!

I have a leopard gecko and I live in an apartment building, we just got a new neighbor who's a heavy weed smoker, like one time he hot boxed his room and the smell came from my closet all throughout the rooms and I have my leopard gecko in my closet since it's a huge closet, big enough to fit two twin mattress and have a some room, what do I do? I can't tell him anything because he's friends with the landlord, people already called cops on him since he came here and they didn't do anything, I would move her somewhere but my dad said my pets HAVE to stay in my room, we won't be in the apartment much longer since they're planning on getting a house soon, but I want suggestions now so my leo doesn't get sick or anything.
