Coming back to this game since launch. Can't find the brutal challenges?

I did everything in this game at launch except for the Rulers of the Outer Worlds challenge and hard mode.

Finally booted up my old save to return to this and realizing I forgot everything about this game.

I went to Chadley and started the combat simulator. I don't see any of the brutal challenges even on the list in the combat simulator. Why would that be? Do I need to go to a specific location or chapter to do them?

Does progress for Bearing Dark G prophecy count before revealing?

So i haven't completed The Unseen Sentinel prophecy (unlock all aspects) because I cant get Artemis to appear to unlock the last aspect I need.

Bearing Dark Gifts requires you to win a run with every aspect.

Do runs with aspects I complete before even revealing the prophecy get counted when I finally do reveal it?

Is there a good video that explains the lore or family tree?

Playing through this, I am somewhat familiar with Greek mythology, but this game introduces so many characters and titles. I'm not clear on their relation to each other.

For example, what separates a god from a titan from a "primordial originator"? Is Chaos more powerful than Chronos? Or did he just come first?

Is there a good youtube video that walks through this?

New to Hades 2, which keepsakes should I be leveling

I just beat chronos for the first time, haven't beat the surface yet.

Which keepsakes should I be leveling? Ive been relying on luckier tooth but feel like I should be branching out more.

Just got the platinum for this game. Love it, but I've never encountered a game more in need of a comprehensive/accurate wiki.

I am a trophy hunter so I love to 100% various RPGs, many of them are sprawling like RDR2 or Elden Ring or The Witcher 3.

I've found that in modern times, every game will have wikis that provide information to the important questions available...except this one.

To be clear, I didn't even start playing until a month after launch, but I really didn't even need wiki knowledge until the last couple weeks so it wasn't just that the game was so new.

I've never seen a major title with so much lacking information.

Nothing about the completion journey was smooth. Nobody seems to have any idea what faction quests unlock other faction quests. Every time I wondered why I couldn't even begin a specific faction quest for an important item, I found 10 different answers online all of which were wrong.

If you need to know where a certain NPC is located? God help you.

The problem is not only is the information severely lacking, most of what is available is just straight up wrong.

I've just never encountered such a thing.

I love almost everything about this game, but this might be the first game with a fishing mini game that I hate.

Overall, this game is excellent. Going for 100% everything and enjoying the journey.

I'm also the guy who loves fishing mini games in video games. Animal crossing, stardew valley, RDR2, FFXV, you name it. If a video game that's not about fishing has a fishing minigame, I love it. I'm the guy who will get distracted and avoid progressing through the main gameplay because he wants to catch all the fish. Even in OSRS, fishing is the first skill I get 99 in.

So when I heard crimson desert had fishing, I got excited.

But crimson desert was the first time I've ever played a fishing mini game and gone "I never want to do that again".

It's just terrible and unsatisfying. This fishing system needs a complete overhaul. Just add a basic button-press timing mechanic or copy what any of the game's have done. The mining and woodcutting mechanics are also very disappointing, but at least they are so simple it's hard to complain about them.
