Climbers of Marsden, A4

Finished print of my sheep from the other day.

My largest lino print to date and definitely my most detailed.

Not sure if i like red or blue ink better, what are peoples thoughts?

Features one of the classic climbs at the local crag, along with one of the areas most famous climbers

Climbers of marsden, A4 lino print

My largest lino print to date, photo of a classic climb at the local crag with one of the usual residents.

Not sure if I like blue or red better, what do people think?

Tiny details

Not sure if I'm going to like the end result too much or not yet, I normally go more stylised with bold hatching, I'm hoping this will print nice and readable once I've finished the full A4 design!

Recent multi block prints, yoga, and climbing

Recent prints,

4 block cmyk tree pose print, second time multi block printing, first time trying oil based inks.

Climbing girl, 2 block print. Need to clean up the lines on the left volume, not sure if i prefer it with or without colour, i think I'm leaning towards without, though I might do the single colour as a dark blue

Climbing girl, with or without colour?

I'm going to clean up the line work on the left hand volume. But what do people think? Better with or without colour?

I think I'm leaning more to without, maybe just in a deep blue rather than pure black.

4 block lino print, Tree Pose, CMYK

Had loads of fun making this one.

First time with oil based inks,

First time using registration pins.

And second time trying multi block printing.

Also used to test out different kinds of paper.

I love how clean some of the Washi papers print, but I think I prefer the texture left over by the rougher papers like the natural mulberry paper.

First multi colour print.

First multi colour lino print. Getting things lined up was a pain but pleased with the result after many attempts.

Still struggling to find the sweet spot with ink where is nice clean printing but not too much it bleeds into the details when pressed. I should have gone one or two more thin layers with the black on this one I think.

Mulberry paper.

Red screen printing ink ( is what i had!)

Black speedball block printing ink.

The preview is not matching up with what's being cut for the engraving and I don't know why though the cut paths seem accurate
