it’s my last night in NYC and I am looking for things to do, any recs?

I'll be in NYC mid-August and wanted to know what shows were good so that I could check a few out. My eye is on The Great Gatsby right now, but would love to know what others' experiences are.

My family and I are going to NYC late August and wanted to find some cute, boutique toy/ book stores to visit with my family (2 adults & 2 toddlers).

Would you happen to have any recommendations?

We are staying in Manhattan but want to see more than a 15-min radius with our two toddlers (2 & 3) and was wondering if we should rent a vehicle to take us around or hire a driver?

Is driving very stressful/ dangerous?

We are thinking of bringing a stroller/ wagon as well to help us with longer walks.

Long story, short. I got scammed. Typical guy has autodeposit and then took my money then said it never arrived? Called bank and they verified it has been deposited. I have his name and email - could I still take him to small claims? In the autodeposit, I mentioned WHAT the amount I sent him was for.
