Hi, I am currently in a situation where i do not know whether to go uni or do a gap year. For context, I firmed uni of bham for accounting and finance. However, things didnt go to plan and i ended up with BBD when i was predicted ABB. I got into my insurance which was uni of leicester for a&f but i am conflicted as to whether i should resit maths (D) and econ (B) for a shot of getting better grades and getting into bham. Can any of you gimme some advice as to what i should do because i am torn right now.

if i get AAD with the A in econ and the D in maths do i still have a chance in getting into Policy Politics and Economics in which the clearing requirements are BBB? i had an issue before the first maths paper which shattered my focus going into it.

I currently hold an offer for accounting and finance but it isnt likely that i will get the 3 As required. Can the fact that i firmed the uni and it is in clearing help me? For context i may miss the offer by 2 grades.

Can any of yall tell me if bham tend to be nicer on grade requirements if you go clearing, for reference if i need to go thru clearing, one of my options might be for policy politics and economics grade requirements AAB.

How leniant are UOB with offers on results day? I am going to do Accounting and Finance next year and i would like to know what are my chances if i miss my offer by 2 grades

I have finished my a levels as of last week, and am a little worried about one of my subjects. I want to do accounting and finance at UoB which has grade requirements of AAA. I have a feeling that i might get either ABC or AAC for Accounting, Econ and Maths (maths is the C). in both cases would it be still possible to get accepted seeing that i have also firmed the uni on ucas. furthermore would it be worth still contacting about the uni about extenuating circumstances because i had issues with 2 of my pets having to been surrendered during the exam season but due to the lack of hard evidence would it still be worth bringing up with the uni?
