I'm gonna turn 18 in a few months, and I'm trying to find like-minded organizations in the U.S. that aren't parties, because I've already decided which one I'm going to join. I'm already part of DSA, and I plan to join the Socialist Rifle Association, the Institute for Christian Socialism, and the Kansas Communist Association. Are there any other non-political-party organizations I could join?
As a still learning socialist and a Christian, I’m very interested in learning more about liberation theology, and I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on what to read related to that. I’d also like to clarify that yes I know this isn’t exactly a socialist question and is more of religious theory but I’m not going to get any useful recommendations in an actual Christian subreddit, and I will most likely be called a “commie traitor” so I’m not going to waste my time there.
So in a few months I’m finally turn 18 and I’ve already gotten involved with DSA but I want to actually join a party. Does anyone have any recommendations for Marxist Leninist parties in the United States. I’m already aware of some of the big ones like PSL and CPUSA but are there any othered people would recommend?
I’m new to socialism and I’m trying to start reading to understand it more. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should start with?
