YC should pitch remaking of Zelda 2 to Nintendo

Title. Would be a great opportunity for YC and seems possible, given their connection to Nintendo + their reverence for the game. This or at least a new side-scroll Zelda game, kind of like Retro Studios (another US-dev) did with Metroid.

Ending question

There a reason Mina saved the purple cats? I was very satisfied with the decision, but it also felt like I missed something other than they're cute and seemed nice. There were other allied characters Mina could've also saved by this logic, so I wasn't sure.

About to finish the game (overall loved it) and am thinking about the experience. The main things I’m meh about are the spirit emblems and rot mechanics. Both of these disincentivized experimentation, or just basic trial-and-error, in my experience. Sure, they’re not hard to get/restore, but lore-wise it did make me NOT want rot to happen or to grind to restore my emblems. I barely used any emblems out of fear of running out for tough bosses, which did happen twice regardless.

Idk, I’m curious what y’all think.
