More than Impressed with Krishna Pure Blue Ink

I was disappointed with the Camlin ink and thought that Trinity might be a bad pen but guess what the ink was the problem (though for ₹30 u can't complain, but what's the point if u don't enjoy writing)

Pros

  1. Dark and Vibrant Blue

  2. Consistency

  3. Excellent flow

Cons

- This long bottle is a pain in the arse.

All and all it is a good upgrade from the Camlin ink and I think I'll stick to this ink over Parker quink/camlin, And I'm pretty much content with this ink.

anyone who can compare/contrast this ink with Pelikan/Pilot etc inks feel free to share ur opinion.

Everyday Pocket notebooks & My Top 3

  1. Luxor Converge ( ₹20 I got 3 for ₹30)

- Premium Cover

- Cool Blue lines

- High quality 70 gsm pages (WOW!)

- better than Youva Spiral

- The quality is the same as their premium converge range which is available in A4, A5, B5, A6 and so on.

(2nd Pic)

  1. Youva Pocket notebook (₹10 perfect)

- Beautiful and Vibrant designs 😍

- Cool blue lines

- Good quality pages (some Ghosting but easily manageable)

- Excellent binding

( If they introduce this product in the US market it will absolutely kill Field notes)

(3rd pic)

  1. Youva Spiral Pocket notebook (₹20 Good but Luxor Converge is better)

- Good if u can't get Luxor converge this is the 2 nd best choice

* Shape Minimac Pocket notes ( ₹10 Average, not bad)

- Suitable for everyday use

- will get the job done

* Luxor Pocketnotes 54 gsm (₹5 poor quality, suited for rough work)

- Rough pages (Kam-chalau as we call it in Hindi)

TLDR:- If u like Filed notes u will love Youva Pocket notebook, and If u want spiral pocket notebook get Luxor Converge.

Jinhao Wow! NPD CUM FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Jinhao 599 (Lamy copy) w/ Camlin ink 🫟

( Notebook Youva Stellar 64 GSM 3rd image for back impressions)

This is my first ever Jinhao pen damn it is really good.( I thought these were some run of the mill pens but guess what I was wrong)

The nib is fine and it writes fine as well

+ Fine yet smooth nib (with some feedback)

+ The Grip section is quite comfortable (caused by the fact that I use the tripod grip so for me it is a match made in heaven)

+ It writes fine with a cheaper ink from the get go ( Planing to get better inks and then I guess the experience will be top notch)

+ Affordable pricing with solid build quality (don't get me wrong but I like this type of plastic it reminds me of my beloved TVS keyboard which is 2 decades old)

All and all it is a great beginner and pocket friendly pen and I would choose this over my Camlin trinity everyday. And I am planning to buy more pens from this brand.

For the time being if u can suggest some good inks for this. ( Ordered Krishna Pure blue)

Wanted refills for my Maxtron but maxtron's refills are out of stock everywhere so I thought let's just buy one Trimax refill.

A few months back Someone posted about the quality of Trimax refills in this sub but I thought how bad it can be the answer is:- it is worse than u think.

Ultimately replaced the feed with Rorito XO7.

Generally there are nearby libraries with decent number of books. They allow books to be borrowed for the period of 15 days. As a long term strategy don't u think that borrowing them can open more doors and reduce the clutter. Because, be honest most of us buy the books but rarely read them.

If u have any other ideas/alternatives please share.
