JPMC Final Round (NYC Associate) – Recruiter says "still completing final interviews." What are my actual chances?
Hey everyone, looking for some real insight from people who have gone through the JPMC hiring pipeline.
I did my final round interview for an Experienced Associate role in NYC exactly two weeks ago. At the end of the interview, the hiring manager explicitly mentioned they were wrapping up interviews that week, but had one more candidate scheduled for early the following week, and that I should hear back in about a week.
After 8 days of silence, I followed up with the recruiter. No reply.
After 12 days, I followed up a second time. The recruiter (an Associate on the Experienced Recruiting team) replied manually with this exact message:
"Hi OP– the team is still completing final interviews. I apologize for the delay and will update you when there is more information. Thank you for your patience!"
It has now been 14 days total since my final interview.
For those who have dealt with JPMC HR:
Is this a generic "keep warm" email because I'm the backup choice, or does JPMC genuinely freeze the process until every single candidate finishes their loop due to compliance? If you got this exact email in the past, did it end in an offer or a rejection?
Thanks
