Notre invitée est Nina Potarska, militante au sein de l'organisation Ukrainian Socialist Sotsialnyi Rukh et directrice du Centre de recherche sociale et du travail d'Ukraine. Son principal objectif est d'identifier les violations des droits humains en s'appuyant sur une analyse de genre. Dans le cadre de ses activités, elle suit les besoins et le respect des droits des femmes vivant près de la ligne de contact, et rédige des rapports sur le respect des droits des femmes au sein du système des Nations Unies. Récemment, elle a participé à la flottille de Gaza et à la manifestation pour la Palestine en Ukraine.

Elle va rencontrer l’histoire du mouvement syndical en Ukraine et ses expériences sur la flottille de Gaza.

English text: Join us for a conversation on how the Quebec left can build ties with the Ukrainian socialist movement.

Our guest is Nina Potarska, an activist with the Ukrainian Socialist Sotsialnyi Rukh organization and director of the Ukrainian Center for Social and Labor Research.

Her main objective is to identify human rights violations through a gender-based analysis. As part of her work, she monitors the needs and rights of women living near the contact line and writes reports on the observance of women’s rights within the United Nations system.

Recently, she participated in the Gaza flotilla and the demonstration for Palestine in Ukraine.

She will discuss the history of the labour movement in Ukraine and her experiences on the Gaza flotilla.

Наша гостя — Ніна Потарська, активістка організації «Український соціалістичний рух» та директорка Центру соціальних і трудових досліджень України. Її головна мета — виявляти порушення прав людини на основі гендерного аналізу. У рамках своєї діяльності вона відстежує потреби та дотримання прав жінок, які проживають поблизу лінії зіткнення, а також готує звіти щодо дотримання прав жінок у системі Організації Об’єднаних Націй. Нещодавно вона взяла участь у флотилії до Гази та у мітингу на підтримку Палестини в Україні.

Вона розповість про історію профспілкового руху в Україні та про свої враження від участі у флотилії до Гази.
